Hi Postcard Friends!
My last post was dated May 2024, so it is time for an update. October 1 has been designated “World Postcard Day” so it became my intent to celebrate by sending a postcard to all those that have supported this little passion project and get a new blog out! I thank you … none of this would be possible without your support and encouragement – I sure do appreciate each of YOU! Have you checked out the new website – another newbie update!
This was exciting … this summer Senator Rachel May awarded THE POSTCARD PROJECT the New York State Senate 2024 Empire Award. The plaque states “in recognition of outstanding contributions and dedication to the growth, prosperity and betterment of their community and New York State.”

LITTLE FREE POSTCARD MAILBOX ... The fun continues. In fact, the mailbox journal is almost FULL! Each Monday I continue to stop by the mailbox, leave a note in the journal along with 10 free postcards (including one with a stamp). I just LOVE this project. I wonder if in 2025 another “Little Free Postcard Mailbox” will pop up in another community.
A THANK YOU SALE ... Between now and the end of the year, I will be offering sales and raffles. I hope to generate sales because donations will be made at the end of the year. Please consider The Postcard Project for Christmas gifts – they sure do make nice stocking stuffers.
ALMOST A NON-PROFIT ... The Postcard Project is an LLC small business. My goal for this passion project is to spread the joy of postcards, create a variety of new postcard options, (ha ha - not lose money) and donate profits to the AUBURN EDUCATION FOUNDATION and FINGER LAKES LAND TRUST. This has been a ball!
YEAR ENDING / NEW YEAR BEGINS … I will be at the PRISON CITY HOLIDAY MARKET in December, stop by! Goals for next year: January and February I hope to take a pause. In order for me to continue to make donations I need to broaden my markets. I hope to explore: GOLF COURSES, RESIDENTIAL CAMPS, MUSEUMS and PUBLIC ART. If you have any contacts or feedback, I sure could use some help!
